During the usage of electron tubes, the voltage of each electrode must strictly confirm to the provisions of the manual.
1. The filament voltage is neither too high nor too low.
2. The voltage of both positive electrode and screen grid cannot exceed the nominal voltage.
3. Favorable thermal dissipation condition is necessary because excessively high temperature leads to premature aging and damage.
4. When someone changes a tube, pull it out and infix it vertically or horizontally aiming at the tube socket. Don’t shake it in case of the crack of the tube.
5. Make a backup. Each electron tube has a certain service life. The electron tube backup box is indispensable for a set of equipment. In this way, when the old tube work inefficiently, replace it at any time.
6. Put electron tubes in order in case of a confusion of the new tube and the old one when someone maintains a machine.
7. Replace the tube by another tube of the same model or other models offered by the manual.
