vacuum capacitor?
1. Handle gently! Do not bang, fall, drop or dent.
2. Do not take the units out of their original shipping containers until they are going to be used.
3. Keep the
capacitors in their original containers in case of friction of each other. It is very important with the glass envelope units. Otherwise, it is likely to damage the tubulation or crack the units easily.
4. Protective sleeves on gas filled units are not remove randomly! These units are under very high pressure and the sleeves will help prevent them from injury in case the unit is dropped.
5. Do not change the
capacitor housing or turning screw (shaft) because any processing of the capacitor assembly can result in an internal problem.
